Project: Burning House!!!
[eXentry 2012.001]

Every now and then, i read a blog that challenges my way of thinking. Project Burning House gives me a good start for the year about important things to ponder on. Reminds me to also consider purchasing a good safe somewhere down the line for the important documents I might need to preserve. Considering being  in a state of panic (and very much from my wife) and having limited time considering differences between needs, wants and sentimentals it would be better to think of these things now than later. All things considered here's my list...

Q: If your house was burning, what would you save?

A: My list is actually quite simple. These are the first few that came to mind: Wedding Ring, TouchPad, Laptop, Phone and My Grab Bag which usually has my wallet, keys, camera, cord accesories and Bible. Given more time I would definitely save printed photos/albums, important documentations and sentimental collections i have (hence a good fire proof safe would be highly valuable by then which i would just toss out the window and recover from outside). If its cold out, some blankets (can also be a bag) and some warm clothes/shoes would be considered. Everything else apart from my wife seems replacable :o)

12.14.11

::: Memorable Quotes of the Day :::

"If you never chase your dreams, you'll never catch them."

"I just don't get some people. If you have all the time in the world to talk about other people, and for them to be a topic of discussion with you and your friends, whenever you all get together...you obviously aren't living your own life."

"At this age, everything is changing. Day by day we don’t notice, but just look back over the past year and you will realize everything has. People you thought were going to be there forever aren’t, and people you never imagined you’d be speaking to are now some of your closest friends. Life makes little sense, and the more we grow the less sense it will make. So make the most of it now, before it all changes once again, because in the near future, all of this is only going to be memories."

"Having someone to sit beside you is nice. Having someone to wipe your tears away is great. Having someone to hug you to sleep at night is wonderful. But trust me, being that someone to somebody feels even better."

::: Devotion: The 4 Components of Relationship with God :::

(1.) Salvation - giving Him your heart...
(2.) Sanctification - Asking God to make you the person He wants you to be...
(3.) Service - Letting God use you according to His will and the furtherance of His glory...
(4.) Sacrifice -  Giving Him your all...
